Here’s what Chris has to say about 8Five2SHOP’s first video that’s coming soon:
“HOLLIEDAY” is 8Five2SHOP’s first ever skate video, filmed by Piet Guilfoyle with additional filming by Owen Yu. The video is starring: Piet Guilfoyle, Chun Chai and myself, along with Seb Batty, Dani Bautista and Ben Coniam and friends. We haven’t had a lot of time to film this video, but needless to say it has been the best time of my life filming for it. Having Vans HK send us to Shanghai and Singapore to help film for our video and we couldn’t be grateful enough. The night of the premiere when I sit down and watch the video with everyone’s parts in it I will feel the nostalgia. Seeing the clips and knowing the story behind each one will definitely bring a smile to my face. I am so happy to be a part of the 8Five2 team and everyone involved with the shop is the homie for life!
I hope that this video will show the HK skate scene and the rest of Asia the world that 8Five2SHOP is the best skate shop in Hong Kong and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
The video should be premiering in mid November, so keep a look out for the location and time.

We took a 10 day trip to Shanghai and got busy shredding and filming for the 8FIVE2 video, Everybody killed it and Tommy Zhao is the fucking man for babysitting us the whole trip!

Vans X 8FVE2 Versa Mid ‘S’ Out Now!!
The new Vans X 8FIVE2 collaboration project has finally come to a close with the release of the shoe, exclusive to 8FIVE2SHOP. If your feeling them, then your better head over to Causeway and pick up a pair or two before they vanish into thin air, i swear, after seeing the coverage (print and online) theres no way this thing is going to hang around.
I like this shoe a lot, more so for what it represents; Vans supporting the core aspect in Hong Kong, and i hope they continue to support in that way even more. Brian, Annie and everybody involved with 8FIVE2 is really honored to have been able to work on a 2nd shoe project! Thanks Vans
